Wayne
Waye still very young looks like he has been spayed but in fact his testicle was still up in the groin and he had to be cut open. This little affectionate cat would love to live inside out of the harmful rays of the sun as his nose is white but I have yet to come across a cat which doesn’t accept the great indoors.

Trudy
Trudy is a very dark tortoiseshell, no risk for skin cancer on her. I guess she is about four years old. She has adapted well to the other cats and is not shy to ask for a cuddle. Trudy is a rather big female so imagine how much heat she will radiate on your lap during the cold winter months ahead of us.

Helge
Helge is a new arrival in ginger/white. Helge is about five-six yrs old and doesn't like being here at the Haven. He is bewildered to say the least but he is a sweet cat and has got a lot going for him. I think he would prefer to be the solo cat in the house, doesn't seem to mingle with the others much. A big lap warmer and he can purr, I've heard him.

Twinky
Twinky is a sister to Goldie and DaddyO. Twinky is also a senior cat and she is very sweet. Twinky loves to bury herself under her bedding, all you see is a big hump but call her and the hump starts moving and out she comes. Twinky will also have her choppers cleaned and she has the beginning of kidney failure but many a cat has lived a good life with the proper care and food despite these setbacks. These three cats lost their owner recently and they all need a lot of TLC, their 4th sister Tiddles was not given a very good prognosis by the vet and will not live for long but regardless what time she has left it will be filled with warmth, love and good food.

Theodore
Theodore, handsome fluffy male coming up to two years of age. Theodore was skinny and unkempt when he arrived from the pound but is now a picture of health and has come out of his shell, actively checking out prospective owners himself. As you know the cats chose their owners, not the other way around which often surprises people but trust the cats, they are always right.

Tilly
Tilly is a 12-year-old cat who likes to sleep, eat and cuddle, occasionally she gives me a love bite, doesn't hurt but will not be suitable for kids because of this. She needs a fair bit of brushing as she can be a bit lazy with her grooming and her longish hair get tangled. She had a dental last year and needs to be encouraged to eat dry food, fortunately she loves Hill's t/d which helps a great deal.

Glenda
Glenda is a four-year-old very shy cat in grey tortoiseshell. She would benefit greatly on a one to one basis as she will need to learn to trust people. She is sweet and she can purr but she is not comfortable with too much cuddling so need to be won over gently.

Brian
Brian is a big, handsome tabby, seven years old. Brian is brother to Bruce and brother-in-law to Darlene. He is rather timid as he came as a wild kitten all those years ago, doesn't like strangers at all but is very settled within the Haven with what we have got to offer in terms of four-footed friends and one two legged human.

Long John SIlver
Long John Silver is a cat who I find very difficult to age. He is a very nice people cat but gets very distressed around other animals, which is understandable as his left hind leg has been amputated. Now, one would think whoever owned him would be looking for him, a considerable amount of money must have been spent on his leg but so far no sign of an owner. Long John Silver's gait is very lopsided and he should be kept as an inside cat or in an enclosure so as not put any further pressure on him but this cat is a winner and so very nice.

Maya
Maya is, I think, around 10 years old, very difficult to say but she is lovely all the same. Maya has a very dense, soft coat, a loud purr and a very healthy appetite. When she arrived she settled right in and started eating, purred between mouthfuls while I was talking to her and stroking her, wasn't even fussed about Daisy Dog so here is a cat that should attract many prospective owners.

Vera
Vera came to me semi-wild but has settled so much I can now put her up for adoption. She is only very young, loves food, is OK with dogs and other cats. She loves to be patted but is still feeling uncomfortable being picked up - but that will come. Vera is very attractive and this little one which has been living tough could certainly do with some comfort in her adult life.
