Sooty
Jnr
Sooty Jnr is a gorgeous black boy, about 12-18 months old. He
was rescued from an abusive start in life by a kind-hearted neighbour,
who took him in and nursed and fed him back to health. Unfortunately
her existing cat didn't take kindly to the "intruder",
and after nine months of Sooty getting biffed up, she made the
heart-breaking decision to bring him to the Haven. Given his start
in life, Sooty is understandably not happy to be in a shelter,
and desperately needs a new owner to give him lots of love and
cuddles and show him how good a life can be. He loves weaving
between legs and playing with bare feet, and with his shiny black
fur will make a gorgeous companion for the right owner.
| Sooty
Jnr
is proudly sponsored by Gigi and Peter; cats Quincey,
Betty and Chanel, and dog Leo.

 |
Lewis
Lewis is around nine months and is very striking and has a very
fluffy tail. He is affectionate and he is used to dogs and he
would like to get a home soon, please. |
 |
Minnie
May
Minnie May had a growth problem as a tiny kitten and will always
be a small cat but her heart is big and she is such a sweet looking
cat full of beans. MM is around eight months.
| Minnie
May is proudly sponsored
by Pip, Sauce, Stella
and Chardonnay.

Abbey
Abbey is sick and tired of being a shelter cat, could someone,
please, come and rescue her from me. Alley was born 14/10/07 and
she is used to dogs and other cats. Abbey is a sprightly kitten
with a lot of love to dish out to a lucky owner. |
 |
Greyson
Greyson just under a year old loves people but can’t stand
other cats. He is very good looking with clear markings in stripy
grey. Not everyone wants more than one cat and here he is. |
 |
Maggie
Maggie, around eight –nine months, is another juvenile looking
for that special home. She is very decorative, very affectionate
once she knows you and is fine with dogs. |
 |
Lisa
Lisa, a young girl around 12 months, will be suitable for someone
without kids as she has had her tail and fur pulled to last her
for a lifetime. She is very sweet but might be shy at first and
care has to be taken of her nose in summer. |
 |
Conrad
Conrad a senior male is very settled and affectionate, a lovely
cat to have around. He loves to cuddle and can’t understand
why his owner abandoned him so late in life.
| Conrad
is proudly sponsored Susie and her cats Max & Trim,
in memory of Thomas.

Pye
Pye is a semi-longhaired gentleman, 10 years old, not wanted any
longer when his owner returned from overseas, she had 'better'
things to do. This cat doesn't deserve such treatment after having
trusted his owner since a tiny kitten and to be abandoned in his
senior years to face a lonely death at a shelter is beyond contempt.
I will do anything to find Pye a proper home, where he can stay
forever to be loved and cherished. Pye is not a fighter but I
think he will be best as an only cat as this is how he has lived
prior to coming here.

Cupid,
Bow and Arrow
Cupid is the mother and only very young. Bow is a short-haired
girl and Arrow’s hair is slightly longer. All girls extraordinarily
beautiful and the kits are around 12 weeks old. This is another
trio that were thrown out to fend for themselves and life becomes
very tough for a young mother but this time around there was help
to be had as Cupid was very selective at which house to go to
and ask for help.
UPDATE: Bow and Arrow have
found forever homes. Cupid is still waiting for that special someone.

Many
juveniles to choose from!
I have a number of juveniles looking for homes, they are all very
well behaved and affectionate but were kept in their original
homes till they grew too big and were handed into the pound. These
guys have had all their shots. |
 |
Sarah
Sarah, seen her with her daughter Scarlett, is about two years
old, very smoochy, loves a cuddle and she is fine with dogs, at
least the big very hairy variety. Sarah is tabby/tortoiseshell.
|
 |
Bronte
Bronte, a young grey single mother of three, is so beautiful and
such a good little mum to her kids. This little cat went through
hardships looking after her kittens until she was found and cared
for while rearing the babies. Now life is looking up for her and
she is ready to bless someone or more with her sweet disposition.
|
 |
Angie
Angie is a little young girl, very affectionate and pretty but
care must be taken in regards to her nose and the sun. Angie will
be a great lap warmer for winter.
|
 |
Trinity
Trinity was homeless and hungry and will be a tad timid at first
but this cat is nice when you get to know her, she is just wary
of people as she so far only met a handful that have been nice
to her. Take her home and I suspect she will be like a rash on
anyone she learns to trust.
| Trinity
is proudly sponsored by Jane,
her four cats and three dogs
|
 |
|
 |
Becky
Becky is a young mother of two. She is now de-sexed and ready
to go to a forever home. This little cat is super affectionate
but note she needs to live as an indoor cat only due to her fair
complexion. Becky is used to dogs.
| Becky
is proudly sponsored by Carmen,
in memory of her cat Becky
|
 |
|
 |
Alex
Alex is nine months old now. He is very interested in checking
out what's going on when he is not playing like a small lunatic
with all his friends. Alex is an all ginger as many others of
my kits.
| Alex
is proudly sponsored by Elizabeth, Ben, Zac and the cats
Bluebelle, George, Napoleon. In memory of Shakespeare.
|
 |
|
 |
Menzies
Menzies is a happy, outgoing purring kitten around seven months
old. He is small for his age but will no doubt grow into himself
with some good food and TLC. |
 |
Debbie
Debbie is a year old and very, very sweet. She looks a bit scruffy
right now but with some proper food and regular worming she should
scrub up alright. It is not easy to keep oneself tiptop having
been dumped with nothing to eat and no warm place to sleep.
| Debbie
is proudly sponsored Bernadette, Michael
and former havenite Cameron.
|
 |
|
 |
Patrick
Patrick is a handsome one in ginger and green eyes. Not only is
he good to look at, he is equally nice on the inside. I guess
he is around three years old and is a very nice settled cat.
| Patrick
is proudly sponsored by Belinda Stephens,
in memory her cats Muppet and Woody.
|
 |
|
 |
Cara
Mia
Cara Mia is a little tabby girl around eight months old. She is
very, very affectionate, has got beautiful markings and will be
an asset to any owner. Cara Mia gets along with dogs and cats
very well.
|
 |
Jacob
Jacob a ginger/white easy going cat, middle-aged cat but very
sprightly. He goes well with dogs and other cats.
|
 |
Honey
Honey is so called because she is a honey-pie, very sweet and
affectionate. Honey is only 12 months old.
| Honey
is proudly sponsored by
Sheryl and the fur-kids Annie, Darcy, Hamish, Rupert and
Bell.
|
 |
|
 |
Allie
Allie, 10 months, outgoing affectionate daughter of Alberta and
unlike mum loves dogs. She is forever inviting my Daisy to play. |
 |
Maggie
and Kenneth
Maggie and Kenneth are not related, Maggie is in the forefront
of the photo and she is one of the sweetest kits on earth. Kenneth
is only very new and very hungry but is very good at purring |
 |
Miko
Miko, just over a year old is affectionate and playful, used to
dogs and other cats. Miko needs to be an inside cat due to her
pale complexion.
|
 |
Mama
Chloe
Mama Chloe produced five little babies in a hay stack, one has
gone but another four are purring for homes. Mama Chloe will be
stand offish with strangers at first but she is one little cat
to love and behold for life.
