It's been six months since Alex arrived. Alex was chosen for his suitability to fit in with the resident cat Ruby. Ruby was bored and clingy.

Little Alex was very shy at first, hid under the bed for a good week. The resident cat who is a princess hissed at him non-stop. One day, he decided to hiss back. Then the parties started!!! It took a while for her to accept some toys are for Alex!!

Even though it was a slow start, Alex and Ruby are best of friends now, you could say they love each other. The two cats wash each other, play together and sleep together. They will share the same food bowl and swap bowls for taste testing. No problems.
The only time they argue is when they play-fight too rough or Alex gets a bit fresh!! Ruby then gives him a smack.

We have discovered Alex likes Flake from the Fish Shop, cheese, Vegemite on toast and baked beans.... he has his routine of watching Home and Away every night with mum and has his own spot on the spare couch. He has a polystyrene ball he carries around in his mouth like a dog does.......

Alex is a little tired on mum taking photos but she can't help herself.

Alex has made our little world so much a better place. Ruby is not lonely anymore and he gives mum lots of cuddles and love.

Thank you Ingrid for giving Alex to us. He is our little man and we love him dearly.
