Hi Ingrid,

Just thought we would write to say a quick hello from an old friend of yours - Pete (also known as Garfy). We adopted him from you in April 2003, and I think he came to be with you in August 2002

.Family ties

I have attached a picture as I think he might be quite a bit larger than when you last saw him. Apparently when he first came to live with you he was near death from starvation. It is quite the opposite now ... Garfy Loves food, anything, even zucchini and cucumber!
He still acts like a kitten, even though he is probably about five or six years old now. He is so much fun and loves a game.

The good life

He is very affectionate and sleeps on our bed every night, even though he hogs the doona and half the bed - he weighs a ton!! He always has to be near us and acts more like a dog than a cat. When arriving home from work each day, he is the first one running down the drive to greet us.

Best friends

We bought our first home about a year ago, and also had another arrival, a Border Collie puppy named Jessie. These two big changes in Garfys life didn't seem to phase him too much. He and Jessie get on really well, and I will attach some pictures for you.
Thanks for everything Ingrid, and for bringing Pete/Garfy into our lives.
Without you, we would never have met the best cat in the world.

Pete

Can you please email us in relation to sponsoring a cat? We would love to help you in any way possible.

Love from Tracy and Dave
