Hi
Ingrid,
We saw Talk To The Animals on Saturday, and thought we'd
send you a little update on Sallieanne. I hope the TV spot boosts
business for the shelter. Although Sallieanne was centre of attention,
a lot of the other cats looked incredibly gorgeous and I'm sure
will raise interest for themselves too.
Sallieanne
has settled in wonderfully, she gets more cheeky
by the day and is incredibly loving. She seems
to enjoy being a house cat, we've let her into
our yard a couple of times on her little harness
and lead but she tends to get bored quickly.
I guess having a big two storey house helps
- she can get lost in here during the day!
She is really happy, very much a Daddy's girl
too but she'll cuddle up with us both.
She's
been good in learning her place on the couch,
where her bed is at night, and although she
gets a bit naughty sometimes she generally
behaves. And she has a lot of mad times, gets
crazy and chases anything, even her own tail!
We have a rug that she jumps on, and she gets
it to glide across the wooden floors - impressive
for such a little creature.
We
have thought many times about the other cats,
especially Lola and her kittens. Are they still
with you? We checked out the website and saw
Blake has found a home - that's fantastic,
we were so torn about not taking him. Please
let us know how everyone is. I've attached
a few pictures of Sallieanne so you can see
she's happy at her new home.
Sam,
Corey and Sallieanne
